TCS MINI LONDON MARATHON

Selections for this event  are made from the SW cross country champs and this year for the first time I organised the first road based trial over 2.4k at Westpoint for athletes to be considered for the sw team and the first 3 finishers gained a place in the SW team. We also look other national & major cross country, road and endurance track events plus power of 10 for mainly 3k/5kin that competitive year. Athletes are selected for the South West, if they have 9 months residence or were born in the region (Avon, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire). Athletes have to apply to be considered for this event. (please see entry details on our site when available for next year).

2026 team information
selections were made – this was very challenging once again with such a range of athletes applying and such a high standard it was difficult for the selection team and we know there will be some disappointments but congratulate all the teams this year!

The event went really well and we look forward to this event again next year.
